What is Volt Women UK?

Volt Women UK is made up of Volt Members and volunteers, who are passionate about promoting gender equality and women’s rights across the United Kingdom and beyond.

It provides a space to discuss and collaborate on key issues including reproductive rights, gender and, gender-based violence, sex work, menstrual poverty, the gender pay gap, parental leave, and gender diversity.

Community members will actively work on policy proposals, share ideas, support civil society initiatives, and develop solutions to foster an inclusive society and movement.

The Community hosts regular discussions, events, and collaborative projects, encouraging all Volt UK members to get involved, contribute perspectives, and drive meaningful change!

Why is there a dedicated women's branch

We created Volt Women UK to empower women in politics, foster female leadership within the party, and create a strong community where members can collaborate on targeted campaigns and advocacy.

Who can join Volt Women UK?

Volt Women UK is open to all women including trans women members of Volt UK

If you are already a Volt UK member, you can join the branch immediately through our internal community channels.
